Minimum of $20.50 per hour
Maximum of $30.50 per hour
San Jose, CA
Minimum of $22.50 per hour
Maximum of $37.50 per hour
Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.

Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Customer Collaboration: Support customers in designing USB Type-C and Power Delivery interfaces for their systems
- Firmware Development: Assist in developing and customizing firmware to meet specific customer requirements
- Hardware Integration: Participate in debugging and validating customer hardware against Infineon firmware
- Testing & Debugging: Perform hands-on testing and validation of Power Delivery controllers using lab equipment
- Documentation: Contribute to writing application notes and creating reference designs for USB Type-C solutions
- Customer Training: Assist in training customers and field engineers on Infineon USB Type-C and Power Delivery solutions
You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:
- Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with relevant coursework
- Programming Knowledge: Basic experience with firmware development in C and debugging tools
- Lab Skills: Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
- Interfaces Knowledge: Understanding of serial interfaces like USB, I2C, UART, SPI; USB Type-C knowledge is a plus
- Power Management: Basic knowledge of power circuits like DC-DC converters or LDOs
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
