Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Pega Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in deploying and administering the Pega Platform on Private Cloud environments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience externalizing Pega services such as Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, containerizing Pega applications, and building scalable AWS-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Pega Platform infrastructure in Private Cloud environments
- Configure and manage Pega externalized services including Apache Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
- Deploy and administer containerized Pega applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Helm
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Manage highly available Kafka environments: topic management, partitioning, replication, security, monitoring
- Manage OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters, indexing, retention, and search optimization
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
- Support production environments, incident management, performance tuning, and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and architecture teams
Required Skills
- Pega Platform, Pega Private Cloud deployment and administration
- Apache Kafka / Amazon MSK — topic management, SSL/TLS, SASL, IAM, ACLs
- Elasticsearch / OpenSearch cluster management

- Linux administration and shell scripting
