Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Regulatory Analyst to support policy research, legislative review, and regulatory drafting initiatives. This hybrid role is based in Trenton, NJ and offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public policy and regulatory affairs within a government-adjacent environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze newly introduced legislation affecting the organization's authority
• Conduct legal research related to statutory and regulatory amendments, and construction and design industry policy issues
• Research and draft proposed new regulations and amendments with impact to the organization and its stakeholders
• Manage legal and administrative review processes for new or amended regulations
• Develop expertise in organizational policy objectives to ensure cohesion with regulations and published policies
• Research and draft publications, guidance documents, fact sheets, and reports related to policy objectives
• Aid in the development of training materials and interactive education sessions on regulatory matters
• Collaborate and foster stakeholder and external partner relationships
• Plan and participate in conferences, public hearings, listening sessions, and other public events

Location & Work Model

Hybrid — 33 West State Street, 9th Floor, Trenton, NJ 08625. Work hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Business casual dress code.
