Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled ML-Ops / Platform Engineer to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This role sits at the intersection of cloud platform engineering, DevOps, and enterprise GenAI enablement. You will design, build, and operate cloud-native platforms on AWS and Azure while driving the operationalization of cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and operate cloud-native applications and platforms on AWS and Azure, including VPC/VNet, IAM, Load Balancers, API Gateway, Lambda/Functions, EKS/AKS, ECS, and App Services
- Design multi-account/subscription architectures with landing zones, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization
- Enable and operationalize Enterprise GenAI platforms including model onboarding, AI gateways, inference platforms, vector databases, and RAG
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and service mesh technologies
- Implement DevOps pipelines via GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitOps, and ArgoCD
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible
- Collaborate with application, platform, infrastructure, and security teams to accelerate cloud modernization and GenAI initiatives
