Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: South Mountain, PA
Shift: 3rd Shift (23:00-07:00)
Pay Rate: $41/hour
Job Summary:
LPN duties involve providing direct nursing and supportive care to residents in a long-term care setting, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Administration: Measuring doses, administering medications (including injections and certain intravenous medications as permitted by PA Code), and documenting them using the facility's system.
- Patient Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring residents' overall health and behavior by checking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), observing their condition, and reporting changes or concerns to the supervising RN or physician.
- Basic Patient Care: Providing basic care and comfort, which includes assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility.
- Provide patient assessments, medication and related psychiatric care duties and documentation, hospital intake and discharge tasks and documentation, and patient support.
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year LPN experience.
- Active PA LPN License
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (preferably from AHA)
- Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
