Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online to support a large-scale enterprise initiative. This role involves analyzing current network drive usage, conducting stakeholder interviews, and developing SharePoint-based solutions for file storage and collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills along with hands-on SharePoint migration experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clear analysis in formats such as use cases, application inventories, and SharePoint models
- Analyze network shares, security groups, and user permissions across business units
- Conduct structured interviews with subject matter experts to capture current-state processes and use cases
- Document interviews, compile requirements, and obtain stakeholder approvals
- Schedule and facilitate requirements reviews, design meetings, and status updates
- Create and maintain project artifacts in SharePoint
- Participate in development of SharePoint solutions and propose high-level security group models in coordination with CISO
- Discover and document applications accessing network shares
- Assist with enterprise architecture for SharePoint file storage sites
- Review and update SharePoint governance documents
- Support senior management briefings on SharePoint findings and recommendations
- Utilize Jira to document user stories, use cases, and tasks
Required Skills
- 5 years of business analyst experience
- 2 years of SharePoint experience in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online
- Experience with migrations of network shared files to SharePoint
- Proficiency in business requirements gathering, use case development, and documentation
- Expertise in Visio and PowerPoint
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jira for user story and task management
- Background in enterprise architecture for SharePoint environments
- Familiarity with SharePoint governance frameworks

Engagement Details
