Job Title: Med/Surg RN
Assignment Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
Location: St Johnsbury, VT
Shift: Night shift 7pm - 7am! Three 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week includes every other weekend.
Pay rate: $61/hour
**Travelers may only be on assignment for no more than 26 weeks. The initial 13 and then one extension up to 13 weeks. They can reapply/return after one year away.**
Job Summary:
Join our client's dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals and lead them to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population, all while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions.
They prioritize holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency. You will be accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor during your shift, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of acute care experience, with preference given to candidates familiar with Meditech.
Job Requirements:
- Active VT RN License
- Current BLS/CPR
- ACLS Certification is highly desired.
- Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
