Position: Emergency Department RN
Location: Rochester, MI
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift:7p-730a No Call. Every Other Weekend, Must be available for at least one holiday Day and Eve, 3-12's.

Duties: Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Skills: Required Skills & Experience:
-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Qualifications:
- ACLS, PALS Required.
- TNCC preferred.
- Level 2 Trauma Center.
- 2 years ER/ED experience in at least a level 2 trauma center.
- Prior experience in a stroke center strongly preferred. Suburban community ED, 33 Bed unit.
- 1 year Cerner experience required
