Job Summary:
Assists Anesthesiologist with patient care as required. Cleans, assembles and stocks materials, anesthesia equipment and machines. Conducts light maintenance of anesthesia equipment. Works effectively and cooperatively within the workplace. Location/Department specific tasks and competencies may apply. Education
High School graduate or GED required.
Experience/Training:

One (1) year experience in a Surgical Services environment preferred.
License/Certifications:

Current American Heart Association (AHA) healthcare provider BLS required.
- Current Anesthesia Technician Certification preferred.
Other Skills
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Must be able to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications to perform work. Well-developed problem solving skills required. Must be able to effectively prioritize workload amongst frequent interruptions with competing priorities. Knowledge of central service supplies and basic aseptic technique and infection control practices required. Ability to coordinate work schedule with requirements of position (may include overtime and weekend work).
