Responsibilities
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving equipment, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and punctuality
- Deliver products directly to customers’ locations with professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting items against orders and obtaining signatures upon receipt
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and supporting team members as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving route driving and customer interaction
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly; experience with forklift or pallet jack operation is a plus
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude
- Experience working in a warehouse environment or handling logistics operations is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and adapt to changing schedules
