At Inferno Customs, we’re passionate about pushing boundaries in custom vehicle builds—from marine audio and lighting to performance audio and full-scale automotive enhancements. Known for precision, quality craftsmanship, and next-level customer service, we’re expanding and looking for a dedicated Installation Technician to join our elite team.
Position Overview
As an Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing high-quality installations of audio systems, lighting, vehicle electronics, and performance accessories on a variety of vehicles—including golf carts, boats, UTVs, and cars. You’ll work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where your skill and creativity will directly shape the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install custom audio systems (head units, amplifiers, subwoofers, speakers, etc.)
- Wire and install lighting (LEDs, underglow, RGB kits, etc.)
- Mount and test electronic accessories (backup cameras, GPS, alarms, etc.)
- Fabricate brackets, panels, and mounts as needed for custom fits
- Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to deliver client visions
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of experience in 12V or automotive/marine electrical installation
- Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, and circuit testing
- Attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with boats, UTVs, or custom carts a major plus
- Basic fabrication skills (fiberglass, plastic/wood trimming, etc.) preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
