What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative position at Indy Pack & Material Handling?
The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving the growth and profitability of the company by managing existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. This position focuses on generating sales leads, responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and supporting the outside sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of packaging solutions. There will be commission paid on top of the salary. College degree is preferred.
- Acknowledges and responds to all customer emails within 30-minute to 1-hour timeframe.
- Manages quotes, quote follow up and customer service to build a repeat customer base
- Develops and manages relationships with key accounts, including quotes and order follow up.
- Takes ownership of issues that arise and keeps the customer informed of the status of resolution.
- Manages tracking spreadsheet to show accurate status of projects.
- Maintains accurate records of all interactions with the customers, via email, text, phone or in person including follow-up activities.
- Reviews and monitors dormant customers, follows up when necessary.
- Provides consistent, superior customer service; ensures all customer needs are identified and addressed; maintains a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
- Builds sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication to encourage repeat business.
- Makes outbound calls or emails to previous customers to generate new leads
- Works with design and production on other tasks required
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
