What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Designer with Inventor Experience position at Indy Pack & Material Handling?
Looking for a person who wants to make a career out of packaging design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Create 2D and 3D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and Artios.
-Design material handling containers per customer specifications, using all types of plastic, metal, and/or foam
-Use CAD table, CNC, and Waterjet machine to build prototypes to confirm form, fit and function and do small production runs.
-Manage multiple projects from concept to build
-Build design standards / BOMs / Assembly drawings.
- Help with production set up and tracking.
SKILLS
-Working knowledge of and/or experience using Artios and/or Inventor CAD programs
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, mainly excel
-Able to program a CNC machine
-Experience with 3d printing
-Well Organized and able to balance multiple projects simultaneously
-Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
-Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Open to change and evolving responsibilities
-Must be Self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
-Ability to work in fast paced environment and perform mulitple tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
