Department: Ticket Sales Reports To: Director of Ticket Sales
Status: Full-Time Compensation: Base Salary Commission Benefits

 Position Summary
The Indy Ignite Pro Volleyball Team is seeking a driven, coachable, and relationship-focused Corporate Ticket Sales Representative to help grow new business for season, group, and premium ticket packages. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to build a career in business-to-business sales — starting conversations, building relationships with local business decision-makers, and positioning Indy Ignite tickets as a valuable business asset for revenue growth, employee retention, recruiting, recognition, and relationship-building (the "5 R's"). You'll be supported with hands-on coaching as you grow you skills and your book of business.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new corporate and business accounts for season, group, and premium ticket packages
  • Represent Indy Ignite at networking groups (e.g., BNI-style groups), chambers of commerce, and community business events to build a consistent pipeline of business prospects
  • Run a consultative, needs-based sales conversation — identifying how ticket packages solve real business challenges around client entertainment, employee retention, recruiting, recognition, and referral relationships
  • Meet weekly performance benchmarks, including scheduled prospect meetings, secured deposits, and new prospects added to your pipeline
  • Maintain and grow a personal book of corporate accounts, including renewals, upsells, and reactivating dormant relationships.
  • Host and support corporate clients at games and VIP experiences to strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Track all prospect and account activity accurately in the CRM and sales tools.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales.

 Weekly Performance Expectations
Every Corporate Ticket Sales Representative is expected to hit the following weekly baseline:
● 3 prospect meetings booked (inviting a manager to at least 1 per week)
● 1 deposit secured
● 5 new prospects added to your active list

 Qualifications
  • ● 1–2 years of sales, business development, customer-facing, or relationship-building experience preferred
  • Comfortable starting conversations, building relationships, and asking for business.
  • Enjoys selling, can handle hearing “no,” is motivated by goals, and wants to improve through coaching.
  • Experience engaging networking groups, chambers of commerce, or referral-based business communities is a plus, but not required.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset.
  • Proven record of coachability.
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Ability to reach and exceed manageable goals.
  • Ability to build relationships and drive results via face-to-face selling, phone calls, networking events, and technology/CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  •  genuine passion for sports sales and being part of building something special from the ground up.

 What You'll Gain
● Hands-on coaching and mentorship to build foundational B2B sales skills.
● A growing network of relationships across the Indianapolis business community.
● Ongoing feedback and development from experienced sales leadership.
● Room to grow your career and your book of business as Indy Ignite grows.
