Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage our facilities maintenance team. Duties
- Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and maintenance protocols
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage), HVAC units, plumbing systems, and industrial machinery using schematics, multimeters (voltmeters, ohmmeters), and other diagnostic tools
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources and timelines effectively
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety training sessions for team members
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and safety incidents in accordance with company policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience managing facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance procedures
- Strong electrical experience including working with low voltage and high voltage systems; familiarity with electrical schematics is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management principles
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and record keeping
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and equipment operation
- Skilled in reading schematics, troubleshooting engineering problems, and performing HVAC system repairs
- Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair is highly desirable
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices confidently
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage facilities effectively, and ensure safety compliance
