Technology Field Service Technician (Entry–Intermediate)
Pay: $22.00–$28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Industry Solutions is looking for a dependable and motivated Technology Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and traveling to customer sites to complete a wide variety of IT and low-voltage service projects. Every day is different, with opportunities to work on commercial technology systems across multiple industries.
The ideal candidate will have entry to intermediate experience in one or more of the following areas: desktop support, printer installation and repair, networking, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, IP security cameras, server support, audio/video systems, or general break/fix field service. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing computers, printers, scanners, POS equipment, network switches, routers, wireless access points, IP cameras, access control devices, and other commercial technology equipment. Technicians will also perform Cat5e/Cat6 cable installations, terminations, testing, equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance, and on-site diagnostics while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Candidates must have a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to customer sites and arrive on time. A smartphone with data service is required, and basic hand tools are preferred. The ability to work independently, communicate effectively, lift up to 50 pounds, safely use ladders, and adapt to different technical environments is essential. Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on project needs.
