Position Overview:
As a Rover Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will respond to call-offs, cover open shifts, and provide on-site support across various locations. This position requires professionalism, adaptability, and strong driving experience, as travel between client sites is a regular part of the role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to fill-in requests and cover shifts across multiple client sites.
- Conduct regular patrols to detect, deter, and report suspicious or unauthorized activities.
- Monitor premises and surveillance systems, reporting irregularities in a timely manner.
- Provide a visible and professional security presence to maintain order and deter incidents.
- Respond to emergencies and security concerns efficiently and appropriately.
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors.
- Enforce site-specific rules, policies, and safety procedures.
- Complete accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports.
- Safely operate company or personal vehicles when traveling between job sites.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional security training or coursework preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Proven security experience, preferably in a flexible or on-call capacity.
- Valid California Guard Card and driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
