Transportation: This position is NOT on the bus line. Reliable personal transportation is required.
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kirkwood, MO. This position is responsible for shipping and receiving duties, issuing parts and materials, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
The ideal candidate will have previous shipping, receiving, and inventory experience and be dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and shipments
- Prepare outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
- Issue parts and materials as needed
- Perform regular cycle counts
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Verify quantities and identify inventory discrepancies
- Organize and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory areas
- Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored
- Complete shipping and inventory documentation accurately
- Work with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Qualifications
- Previous shipping and receiving experience required
- Experience issuing parts and materials
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory control
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and reliable attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work the full Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM schedule
- Must have reliable personal transportation – this location is not accessible by bus
Compensation
$20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
