Senior Accounting Manager

WHATS THE ROLE?

The Senior Accounting Manager owns the core accounting functions that keep iEnet’s books accurate, audit-ready, and closed on time; fixed assets, reconciliations, and the monthly close all with strict adherence to GAAP.

This is a hands-on role: you’ll run the close process end-to-end, support day-to-day AR and AP, and serve as a key point of contact for auditors, banking partners, and vendors.

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

• Lead the monthly closing process, including the preparation, posting, and review of journal entries.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements.
• Perform and oversee account reconciliations to ensure financial statement integrity and compliance with reporting standards.
• Run bi-weekly payroll as needed when Accounting Supervisor is out of the office.

Fixed Assets

• Oversee fixed asset management, including monthly depreciation calculations, additions, disposals, and audit readiness.

Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Support AR and AP processes, including invoicing, collections, vendor invoice processing, W-9 verification, check runs, and reporting.
• Manage new vendor and customer account setups, verifying credentials and overseeing account creation.

Audit & External Relations

• Act as a liaison with auditors, banking partners, and other external stakeholders to facilitate audits and financial reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10 years progressive accounting experience, with hands-on ownership of the monthly close.
• Demonstrated experience in managing an accounting team.
• Advanced NetSuite and Excel skills.
• Solid working knowledge of GAAP and account reconciliation practices.
• Comfortable working directly with customers, banks, and vendors.
