Responsible for performing Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) functions, including overseeing the replenishment of customer inventory, implementing and organizing material storage systems, and providing professional customer service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsible for performing Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) functions, including overseeing the replenishment of customer inventory, implementing and organizing material storage systems, and providing professional customer service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Gather and process orders using barcode scanning, vending systems, and other methods.
- Load and deliver orders to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Replenish customer inventory at designated locations, including bin stocking and vending machine restocking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled stocking area at customer sites.
- Collect signatures from customers as proof of delivery.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Work closely with inside sales teams to ensure accurate order processing and adherence to inventory management procedures.
- Maintain and manage the VMI delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly stocked for deliveries,
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or delivery within a warehouse or retail setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse functions, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and related processes.
- Experience with industrial supply order entry, management, and processing.
- Previous warehouse experience in a similar distribution or logistics operation.
- Delivery experience, with a proven track record of timely and accurate service.
- Clean motor vehicle record and valid driver's license.
- Professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor in all interactions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and assist customers.
- Ability to perform tasks both sitting and standing, depending on the work environment (office or industrial) and customer/equipment location.
- May require lifting and transporting equipment, either in a delivery vehicle or personal vehicle, as part of the job duties.
