You're Not Just Filling Cylinders...

Every cylinder you fill and every truck you load supports someone who depends on it. Your work helps ensure hospitals receive the oxygen they need, food processors and breweries have CO₂, manufacturers have shielding gases, and laboratories receive specialty gases. You'll play an important role in safely and accurately loading delivery trucks, handling and securing cylinders, and making sure the right products are ready to reach our customers on time. We're looking for a dependable, safety-minded person who enjoys physical, hands-on work, staying active, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing things right. Experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person. What matters most is your character, work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.A Day in the Life

Your shift starts by reviewing production priorities with your team. Throughout the evening, you'll inspect and sort cylinders, operate filling equipment, verify product quality, pull and load orders, and prepare delivery trucks and branch transfers. You'll work with a variety of industrial and medical gases while keeping products moving safely and efficiently through the plant. Every day brings different priorities, and your work directly supports our customers and teammates.

What You'll Do

  • Truck Loading & Delivery Readiness: Pull, scan, stage, load, and securely prepare cylinders and products for daily delivery routes. Verify orders and load accuracy to ensure drivers leave on time with the right products for the right customers.
  • Branch & Vendor Transfers: Pull, load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing branch transfers and vendor shipments, ensuring accurate product handling, scanning, and inventory movement.
  • Gas Filling & Production: Safely fill industrial, medical, and specialty gases, including liquid filling, propane, high-pressure cylinder filling on the island, and medical oxygen, following established procedures and quality standards.
  • Cylinder Inspection & Organization: Inspect, sort, label, and stage cylinders, checking valves, caps, identification, test dates, and overall condition. Keep cylinders organized and ready for filling, loading, or distribution.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate computerized filling systems, manifolds, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other plant and material-handling equipment.
  • Safety & Quality: Follow established procedures and applicable DOT, FDA, OSHA, and company requirements. Maintain accurate scanning, production, and quality records while recognizing and reporting safety or equipment concerns.
  • Customer & Delivery Support: Provide helpful service to customers at the dock and assist with backup route deliveries when trained, qualified, and authorized.
  • Continuous Improvement & Teamwork: Maintain a clean, safe, organized workplace, support coworkers across Fill Plant and Distribution operations, and help improve safety, accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.

Who You Are

  • Safety-Minded: You take safety seriously, follow procedures, handle heavy cylinders and equipment carefully, and speak up when something isn't right.
  • Dependable & Hardworking: You show up ready to work, maintain a productive pace, and take responsibility for getting trucks loaded accurately and on time.
  • Hands-On & Physically Active: You enjoy staying busy, working on your feet, moving cylinders, loading trucks, and operating equipment throughout the day.
  • Detail-Oriented: You understand that accurate loading, scanning, cylinder identification, and gas filling are essential to safety, quality, and dependable customer service.
  • Organized & Efficient: You can manage competing priorities, keep products and work areas organized, and work efficiently without cutting corners.
  • A Team Player: You're willing to jump in where needed, communicate with coworkers, and help keep production and deliveries running smoothly.
  • Eager to Learn: You're curious, coachable, and interested in developing specialized skills in gas production, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
  • Proud of Your Work: You care about doing things right, take ownership of your work, and understand that customers and coworkers depend on your accuracy and follow-through.

Experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, industrial gases, or forklift operation is helpful but not required. A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet applicable driving requirements are needed for backup delivery duties.
