Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, lowboys, floats, water truck, and dump truck. This role involves transporting equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive various types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles and specialized trucks such as dump trucks and belly dumps
- Load and unload equipment securely to ensure safe transport.
- Navigate routes effectively while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck during operation.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is essential.
- Ability to operate forklifts, trackhoes, bulldozers, skidsteers, mowing tractors, maintainers, and backhoes for loading and unloading purposes is required.
