Industrial Services of Peachtree City is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for interpreting fabrication drawings, preparing materials, and fabricating high-quality metal components that meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Lay out, fit, fabricate, and assemble structural steel and metal components.
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, punches, grinders, and other shop machinery.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of materials and thicknesses.
- Cut, shape, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly.
- Verify dimensions and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform general mechanical assembly of fabricated components.
- Safely lift, move, and position raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Replace shielding gases and maintain welding equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Work closely with supervisors and teammates to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding required.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of welding symbols, fabrication methods, and metalworking practices.
- Experience operating common fabrication equipment.
- Strong measuring skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fabrication shop experience.
- Experience working with structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Forklift experience is a plus.

Compensation:
- $20–$30/hr depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Possible Overtime
