Build What Moves Industries — Join ISC Manufacturing

Picture a day where your welds hold together the systems that keep Agriculture, Mining, Aggregates, Construction, Waste Processing, and Conveying operations running. At ISC Manufacturing, you’ll turn detailed drawings into durable, high‑performing components and assemblies.

A Day in the Life

  • Start by reviewing blueprints and technical drawings, planning your sequence of cuts, fits, and welds.
  • Prep materials using angle grinders, drill presses, handheld plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, and an ironworker.
  • Lay down strong, clean welds in all positions — horizontal, vertical, and overhead — using MIG (GMAW) and FCAW processes.
  • Work at height when required, including 12’ using ladders and boom lifts, following strict safety procedures.
  • Fit and assemble parts with wrenches and basic hand tools before/after welding to ensure quality fit-up.
  • Rig and move heavy, odd-shaped parts safely with forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Keep welding equipment and tools in top condition and your work area organized.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates to hit deadlines and budgets; communicate progress and issues to supervisors.

What You Bring

  • 2 years of MIG welding experience; proven work in similar industrial settings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus a valid driver’s license.
  • Process proficiency: GMAW (.035 and .045), FCAW (.045 and 1/16”), and 316LSI stainless (.035 and .045).
  • Material range: confident welding 14 ga through 1” carbon and stainless steel.
  • Strong blueprint/technical document interpretation and excellent tape‑measure accuracy.
  • Layout and fitting ability with CNC‑cut and manually formed parts.
  • Hands-on skill with electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, grinders, etc.).
  • Safety mindset with proper PPE (face shield, gloves, etc.) and knowledge of relevant safety standards.
  • Self-starter, quality-obsessed, detail-oriented, and able to shift gears as priorities change.
  • Team-first attitude with integrity, ownership, and a commitment to company success and safety policies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with screw conveyors, bucket elevators, mixers, heavy equipment fabrication.
  • Hydraulic shear, press brake, and part assembly skills.
  • TIG welding experience.
  • Certifications (helpful but not required).

  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; stand/walk for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Work Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00–5:30; sometimes Fridays and weekends as needed.

Tools You’ll Provide

  • Basics: squares, tape measure, levels, welding hood, and layout tools.

Testing, Certification, and Growth

  • Must pass a welding test prior to hire.
