Position:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer with expertise in Mazak Mills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Mazatrol programming, machine setup, and operation, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate Mazak milling machines using Mazatrol controls.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Optimize machining processes for efficiency, accuracy, and tool life.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining or programming issues.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, tooling inventory, and proper maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines and project goals.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of CNC machining experience, with proven expertise on Mazak Mills.
- Strong proficiency in Mazatrol programming and machine setup.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents.
- Knowledge of tooling selection, speeds/feeds, and machining best practices.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.
