Refrigeration Technician
Precision Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The technician role is primarily responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. We specialize in the engineering, design, installation, and service of industrial ammonia and freon refrigeration and air conditioning. We are an established and growing company that has been in business for over 30 years.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, trouble shoot, repair and calibrate industrial refrigeration units
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Observe additional maintenance needs requiring attention and report those to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills, ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 -15 years’ experience as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician
- Must have experience working with ammonia
- Requires standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements requiring full range of motion
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in all types of weather
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable with and confident working at heights up-to 40 feet above ground level and using extension ladders
