Position Summary
IRPROS is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and supplier management efforts that support our growing industrial refrigeration operations. This role
will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating vendor agreements, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of equipment and materials required for field projects and service operations.
The Procurement Manager will work closely with engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for industrial refrigeration projects
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Coordinate purchasing activities with engineering, project management, and field operations teams
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting material needs
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards
Qualifications:
• 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience
• Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing supplier relationships
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency with procurement software or ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
• Experience in construction, industrial services, or refrigeration industries
• Familiarity with mechanical equipment, piping, or industrial components
