Job description
We are seeking a 2nd shift skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance duties to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to diagnose problems and implement solutions
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs or improvements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing machinery
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
