Overview
Urgently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team for a temporary position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in bookkeeping, financial concepts, and various accounting software, with the ability to manage complex financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accounts payable and receivable processing, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and others for accurate bookkeeping and record-keeping.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management review and decision-making purposes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical accounting standards including accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and tax regulations.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Experience with financial report writing & interpretation as well as financial statement preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within teams and staff members. This position provides an engaging environment committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all aspects of accounting operations.
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
