Role Description The Industrial Pump Repair Tech is a full-time, on-site role based in Bethlehem, CT. This role is responsible for diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, reassembling, and installing various types of industrial pumps and related equipment in the shop and at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting components for wear or damage, performing mechanical repairs or replacements, cleaning and preparing parts, and testing equipment to ensure proper operation and safety. The technician will follow work orders, document completed work, maintain tools and equipment, and adhere to company safety and quality standards. Collaboration with other technicians, clear communication with supervisors, and timely completion of service jobs are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on pumps, valves, motors, or similar industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work orders for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
• Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues and performing repairs.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and work with heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial trades is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation, with willingness to travel for on-site service.
