What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Industrial Protection Services, LLC?
We are the leading firefighting safety and rescue products distributor in the New England area. IPS is a rapidly growing company with a strong emphasis on service. Due to our pace of growth, we need a qualified candidate to assist in our ever-growing service division.
We have an immediate opening for a mechanically inclined individual who is detail oriented and customer service focused for our South Portland office. This individual will be providing on-site service and installations for a variety of Fire Safety and rescue related products. A candidate with experience in the repair and maintenance of S.C.B.A, Breathing Air Compressors or Hydraulic Rescue Tools is a plus but not necessary, we will provide paid training.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service focused
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean record
- Must pass DOT drivers physical and drug screening
