What You’ll Do
As a Diesel Mechanic at Industrial Power, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles perform at their best. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks.
- Performing routine and preventive maintenance services.
- Troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and electronic systems.
- Conducting advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge tools and software.
- Ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and safety guidelines.
- Documenting all repairs, maintenance, and warranty claims accurately.
- Collaborating with a talented team of mechanics to deliver exceptional results.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates with a combination of technical skills, experience, and a passion for excellence:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in repairing and maintaining diesel engines in Isuzu, Hino, Autocar Trucks and Cummins Engines
- Diagnostic Skills: Experience using advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to complete repairs to manufacturer standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to Safety: Familiarity with OSHA standards and proper handling of hazardous materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cummins Engine Factory Certifications
- ASE Certification or equivalent experience (certifications preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of OEM training and guidelines for Isuzu, Hino, Autocar trucks and Cummins Engines.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required).
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and diagnostics software.
