Warehouse Manager

Position Summary

A successful packaging company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations in our Whitestown, Indiana facility. This role is responsible for leading daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and a safe, high-performing work environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, process improvement mindset, and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all warehouse & dock operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping
• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure high performance and engagement
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure cycle counts and physical inventories are completed
• Optimize warehouse layout and material flow for efficiency and safety
• Coordinate with production, planner, purchasing, and logistics teams to meet customer demands
• Implement and monitor KPIs related to safety, productivity, and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Manage labor scheduling and staffing levels to meet operational needs
• Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, and facility organization

* This role will oversee a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 5 years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging environment preferred
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices
• Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred
• Experience building and sustaining a strong culture of accountability, empowerment & teamwork.
• Strong work ethic and career focus needed.

Schedule & Compensation

• Pay commensurate with skills and experience.
• Full time, salary, on-site role.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
