Territory Account Manager – Connectivity Solutions
We are currently hiring two Territory Account Managers. One position will support the West Coast territory, and the other will support the Mountain Region territory. Please indicate your preferred territory when applying.
Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) – Connectivity Solutions is responsible for driving revenue and margin growth across Connectivity Solutions accounts within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on developing strategic carrier relationships, customer relationships, delivering tailored technical solutions, and coordinating closely with INS’s Sales, Engineering, and Partner teams. The TAM acts as the primary point of contact for connectivity specific clients and represents INS’s full portfolio of networking, automation, and communications products. Success in this role requires deep industry knowledge, strategic account planning, and the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders within customer and partner organizations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Represent INS and its technology partners to connectivity customers in a professional, consultative manner
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and technical influencers within target accounts
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to penetrate new logos and expand existing customer business
- Navigate customer procurement and decision-making structures to accelerate deal cycles
- Act as the quarterback for connectivity sales engagements, managing internal and external resources to drive opportunity success
- Maintain deep understanding of customer priorities and how INS technologies can support operational outcomes
- Regularly report on pipeline progress, territory performance, and customer feedback to sales leadership
- Lead in-person and virtual sales presentations, site visits, and executive briefings for enterprise clients
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline and produce accurate monthly forecast
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical or enterprise sales
- Proven track record managing complex sales cycles and closing large, multi-stakeholder deals
Sales & Strategic Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement, compliance, and vendor qualification processes
- Ability to design and execute territory and account development plans
- Demonstrated success working with distributed teams, OEMs, and B2B customers in regulated sectors
- Strong understanding of enterprise-scale networking, including FWA, mobility, and IoT applications
- Ability to lead on tackling challenges and creatively solving problems with little supervision
- A passion for driving positive customer outcomes and a strong desire to win
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with enterprise sales tools, including CRM systems and sales enablement platforms
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Field-based role requiring regular travel to customer and partner locations
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and operate a computer and telephone
Additional Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
