Industrial Mill Maintenance, Inc. is a general contractor with permanent crews that work at a local steel mill, the largest producers of seamless pipe for the oil and gas industry. We have been in business for 30 years.
Job Summary
Industrial Mill Maintenance, Inc. is currently seeking one dependable, experienced, overhead, in-cab crane operator. The position is in a local facility specializing in making seamless steel pipe. Must be flexible to work rotating shifts. Cranes are approximately 60 feet high requiring excellent vision and depth perception.
Job Duties
- Load steel pipe into rail cars with overhead magnet crane
- Safely and effectively operate a 40 ton in-cab overhead crane with a magnet
- Follow safety rules and regulations
- Ensure that production goals are met
- Complete all training requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
- 2 years of experience operating an in-cab, overhead crane in a manufacturing facility with the highest level of safety. Magnet experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Dependable and have reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass observed drug test and physical and criminal background screening.
