POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a key contributor to our facilities and operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and supporting automated manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. SCHEDULE:
This is a part-time position with the following schedule:
· Monday through Thursday
· 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
· One-hour unpaid lunch break
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintaining equipment reliability and supporting safe, efficient operations across multiple California facilities. Working closely with branch and operations leadership, this position will:
· Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility and production equipment.
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment.
· Provide technical support for controls, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
· Troubleshoot components and software used in automated manufacturing lines.
· Review maintenance reports and work orders to identify equipment issues and opportunities for improvement.
· Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
· Order parts, tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies as needed.
· Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Hazardous Material Handling, and PPE requirements.
· Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and order pickers when required.
· Travel between California facilities to support maintenance activities.
· Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
· Experience with automated equipment such as saws, shears, metal-cutting systems, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
· Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V electrical systems, 24V DC controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), relay logic, and electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, gauges, and meters.
· Computer proficiency required.
· Ability to coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source parts and technical support.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
