What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dimensional Inspection Technician position at Industrial Manufacturing?
We are seeking a dimensional inspection technician for a fast-paced high precision machining facility.
This individual would be responsible for performing quality control inspections on manufactured products to ensure they meet required safety and quality standards. Must be proficient in using measuring tools. Must be flexible with working schedule.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and wear all required personnel protection equipment
- Inspect, measure, or test product to meet customer specifications
- Record testing data and analyze results to determine whether products meet quality standards
- Complete inspection reports and identify areas for improvement in any processe(s)
- Report all quality anomalies

- Strong knowledge of GD & T and print reading
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years manufacturing experience; CNC machining experience preferred
- 5 years of quality assurance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- CMM experience preferred
Physical Requirements
a. Standing and sitting for sustained periods of time
b. Extensive walking through the facility's production areas
b. Frequent lifting up to 50lbs.
c. Repetitive motion (sustained movement/motion of wrists, hands and fingers)
Salary : $25 - $30
