Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing knowledge of programmable logic controllers and ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding tasks as necessary for repairs and modifications.
- Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior technicians or maintenance staff as required.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production needs through effective maintenance practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers is preferred.
- Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leading maintenance teams.
- Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks is desirable.
