We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Generalist to support a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This individual will play a critical role in staffing, scheduling, attendance management, and implementing workforce processes that support operational success. The HR Generalist will partner closely with managers and supervisors on the floor to improve employee relations, drive retention initiatives, and ensure a consistent and positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with plant managers and supervisors to develop and maintain effective staff scheduling strategies that align with production needs
  • Track and manage attendance, including call-offs, no-shows, and tardiness, while supporting consistent application of attendance policies
  • Lead the implementation of HR processes and procedures to improve workforce efficiency and accountability
  • Serve as a trusted partner on the production floor, building strong relationships with managers and employees
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues by conducting investigations, providing coaching, and ensuring fair and consistent treatment
  • Support hourly and salaried recruitment efforts including screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Implement employee retention programs that foster engagement, recognition, and career growth
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS; generate reports on headcount, absenteeism, turnover, and other KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies (OSHA, EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
  • Assist with safety initiatives, employee communication, and training coordination as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
