Tool Trailer Attendant
Industrial Kin & Dryer Group, Western Territory is hiring a tool trailer attendant, to be responsible for the overall maintenance and organization of 53’ job site trailers. This role involves overseeing the care and maintenance of the job trailers, as well as ensuring that all job trailers are properly stocked with tools and equipment. The Tool Trailer Attendant does not need to have welding skills but must have a strong knowledge of tools and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the job trailers on customer job sites.
- Oversee the regular care, maintenance, and inspection of company trailers.
- Ensure trailers are consistently stocked with necessary tools and equipment for welding operations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to keep the trailers fully operational.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites as needed.
- Handle any other duties related to the maintenance and operation of the job trailers.
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in welding and related operations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for managing inventory and maintenance records.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with vehicle and trailer maintenance.
- Must be willing to travel extensively.
Work Environment:
- This role requires physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving equipment.
- The Tool Trailer Attendant will spend time both indoors in the shop/job trailer but mostly outdoors at customer job sites.
