Position Title: Outside Sales Account Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team in the industrial hardware and construction supply industry. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience, a working knowledge of construction and industrial products, and the ability to build lasting relationships with contractors, purchasing managers, and facility maintenance teams.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through direct customer contact, territory management, and proactive sales development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a defined sales territory to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, fabricators, OEMs, and industrial clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular site visits, follow-ups, and excellent customer service.
- Provide technical knowledge and product recommendations tailored to customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and presentations.
- Collaborate with inside sales and purchasing teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Track all activity in the company’s CRM system and provide timely sales reports.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in industrial supply, construction materials, or related fields.
- Knowledge of fasteners, tools, safety products, or MRO supplies is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop business in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-driven.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
