What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Industrial Grind Coffee?
Very busy coffee shop seeks friendly individual with strong work ethic for part time position. Previous food service experience required. Barista experience is required. We require mindful, self motivated, friendly personalities who are great at working as part of a team. Part time position 2-3 days per week. Weekend, weekday and holiday availability is required.
Duties include (but not limited to):
-Coffee, tea, and espresso drink prep
-Food prep (breakfast sandwiches, slicing and wrapping pastries, etc.)
-Dishwashing
-Restocking (cups, lids, coffees, etc.)
-Point of sale (register)
-Cleaning (sweeping, wiping down counters, removal of trash/recycling, etc.)
-Inventory
-EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
We are a neighborhood-oriented coffee business, so be prepared to memorize names and drinks. Great communication skills and a great personality are mandatory. Must be available on holidays as needed and have generally flexible availability. Our hours are M-Th 6-12, F 6-1, Saturday/Sunday 7-1. We do not do partial shifts, everyone works the whole day if scheduled.
