What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account payable/ Account receivable lead/Construction accounting position at industrial field services Inc?
Industrial Field Services,(www.industrialfieldservicesinc.com) a pipeline company working in Southern California searching for an individual to fill out this position in our office in the City of Azusa. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in timely submitting invoices through the Ariba system, helping A/P to pay bills, handling various Admin tasks, and assisting timesheets for P/R. The candidate is accountable for his/her own tasks. This person must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and working under pressure. Be able to work with field workers, foremen, managers, and owners.
Responsibilities: (This list not inclusive of all duties assigned)
The right candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
- Oversee the entire A/R, A/P, Admin, Office and all field employees related matters.
- Ensure timely proccess of A/R, Accrual, A/P, Admin, RFIs and daily problem solving of different matters.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, leadership team, foreman and supervisores when facilitating towards problem resolution is needed.
- Periodicly meet the Customers related to A/R ( No collection)
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a team player
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in construction Companies.
- Minimum of 2 year collage degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Firm grasp of basic and intermediate A/R, A/P, Admin, accural, RFIs, spreadsheet activities and other construction related matters.
- Willingness to meet deadlines on a consistent basis.
- Must be computer savvy with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and switch tasks quickly on daily basis.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
