PREREQUISITES
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year supervisory experience.
- Valid California driver’s license with driving record that meets company criteria.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Drug free environment.
JOB DUTIES
- Efficiently schedule and coordinate drivers to pick up and deliver product in a manner that meets customer requirements.
- Coordinate with shop supervisors from each department to ensure product is delivered on schedule.
- Coordinate with territory managers, shop supervisors, and office personnel for scheduled pick ups and delivery dates.
- Ensure driver personnel comply with safety procedures and use proper PPE.
- Ensure all shipping and receiving requirements are met for all divisions.
- Conduct employee performance reviews for department personnel.
- Ensure vehicle inspections are performed daily.
- Ensure all vehicle maintenance is performed on recommended intervals.
- Carry out disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
- Enforce company driver handbook rules.
- Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
- Perform other duties as directed.
EQUIPMENT USE
- Forklift, pallet jack, electric hoist, computer, printer/copier/scanner, telephone and fax.
WORK HOURS AND ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Monday – Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30pm; overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
