What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exhibit Designer position at Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA)?
- Meet with clients to interpret needs and create concepts to fit their needs
- Ideate 2D designs which develop into full-color 3D rendering, to provide the client with a clear model of the future design
- Develop concepts and designs to be manufactured by the WRX production team
- Refine design concepts and their respective quotes in conjunction with the production manager
- Be proficient in modeling (Rhino preferred) and rendering to create professional presentations to clients
- Be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Meet project deadlines as determined by the fixed trade show event dates.
- (Potential) travel and show set up/tear down
- Strong sketching skills to demonstrate ideas quickly in front of clients
- Ability to create build drawings quickly in Rhino
- Critical thinking skills to utilize materials
- Strong small group presentation skills
