Job Title: Project Site QA/QC

Reports To: QA/QC Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Quality Assurance/ Quality Control

Pay Scale: $80/hour

Per Diem: $100/day (working days)

Summary: This is a temporary position for a duration of approximately one year and six months in Colorado Springs, Co. The project consists of replacing the seismic dampers and springs underneath the buildings inside the Cheyenne Mountain Space Force facility. Work schedule is 40 hours per week, four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday.

Plans, directs, and implements ICM’s quality management system in the field to ensure quality standards are met. Works in conjunction with the PM’s, Supt., PE’s, GF’s, F’s, and Craftsmen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Plans and implements quality policies and procedures in compliance with ICM’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees how to achieve quality work practices, and how to complete minimum quality documentation for the project.

Inspects and audits construction activities to ensure compliance with project documents and specifications.

Review and audit documentation to ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures, and implement appropriate corrective action as required.

Determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.

Supervise and administer solutions for non-conformance activities to include but not limited to addressing work assignments, staffing, training, etc.

Provides information, project specs, codes, standards, and other materials to help identify potential problems.

Leads the investigation of NCR’s, CAR’s, audits, and project spec adherence.

Ensure all NCRs and CARs are reported on the same day of incident and reports all NCRs and CARs to QA/QC Director.

Review documentation to ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures, and implement appropriate corrective action as required.

Ensure Construction Turnover Package (CTOP) documentation is complete.

Accompany all third-party verification experts, outside Inspectors, and auditors on walk through tours.

Attend Pre-Construction and weekly Production meetings to ensure adherence to ICM’s Quality

Management System, contract documents and specifications.

Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction.

Qualifications:

Must be able to pass a background check to gain access to government facilities.

AWS CWI

Must have limited liability insurance to be paid as a sub-contractor.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

5 years construction and/or Quality Assurance/ Quality Control experience.

Ability to read blueprints.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Knowledge of AWS codes.

Computer Skills:

Proficient computer skills using common business and software applications.

Proficient in Revu Bluebeam.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
