Summary
Industrial Builders is seeking a motivated Procurement Agent to support our project management teams. This role is responsible for soliciting Requests for Quotes (RFQs), analyzing vendor responses, and preparing summaries to assist project managers in making informed purchasing decisions. In addition, the Procurement Agent provides administrative support including expense tracking, consumables management, and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Solicit and manage RFQs from vendors for construction materials and supplies.
- Summarize vendor proposals and assist project managers in purchasing decisions.
- Prepare and track purchase orders to align with project budgets and schedules.
- Support field teams with expense tracking and document management.
- Purchase consumables and coordinate deliveries to ensure smooth project operations.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and follow up on order statuses
Experience and Skills
- College degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Construction or industrial procurement experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
