Job Title: Fleet/Facilities Technical Coordinator

Location: 312 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, 14th Floor, Nashville, Tennessee 37243 (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid position. Three days in the office & two days work from home

Position Overview

The Employee will provide short-term operational and administrative support to the Asset Management Division’s Fleet/Facilities Asset Section. Work will focus on maintaining daily continuity for fleet and facility-related activities, including communication, tracking, documentation, data updates, and coordination with internal TDOT teams, Regional staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.

 Primary duties may include supporting motor pool and Agile Fleet-related activities, maintaining and updating fleet order or asset tracking tools, organizing records and documentation, assisting with asset inventory and tagging information, supporting surplus and delivery tracking, and helping monitor follow-up items related to fleet acquisition, warranties, invoices, and operational requests. The position will also assist with preparing or updating standard operating procedures, communication materials, status updates, and other records needed to support consistent program operations.

The role requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to adapt to changing daily priorities in an operational environment. Because of the limited three-month timeframe, the Temporary Employee should be able to quickly learn existing processes, manage assigned tasks with minimal oversight, and provide dependable support to help maintain continuity of Fleet/Facilities services.

Qualifications

·         Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or other related field.

·         3 years of demonstrated competency experience in maintenance, fleet/facility operations, or a related technical discipline.

OR

·         Education equivalent to graduation from high school

·         5 years of demonstrated competency in maintenance or related technical discipline.

AND

·         Ability to communicate clearly, respond to inquiries promptly, and provide organized customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

·         Experience maintaining accurate records, documentation, audit information, or compliance-related files.

·         Experience coordinating with internal teams, regional staff, vendors, or cross-functional stakeholders.

·         Experience supporting fleet, facility, maintenance, asset management, or related technical operations.

·         Experience with asset inventory, asset tagging, asset tracking, or maintaining asset records in a database/system.

·         Working knowledge of dashboards, reports, data collection, or data analysis to support operational decision-making.

·         Experience reviewing invoices, purchase orders, contracts, warranty information, delivery terms, or asset-related financial records.

Salary : $30 - $38
