Experienced Breakfast/Lunch Line Cook
Indulgence Bakery & Cafe is currently accepting resumes for an experienced breakfast/lunch line cook. Here at Indulgence we make everything from scratch and we are looking for someone with a strong passion for food and flavor, as well as an eagerness to learn and expand upon their culinary knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy team environment. Must have experience in a commercial kitchen (2 years), with breakfast experience strongly preferred. Must have daytime and weekend availability. Must be ServSafe Certified (or obtain certification within 2 weeks of being hired). Pay based on experience and performance. Duties will include and are not limited to:
- Preparing each dish on our menu up to our high standards and making sure that each dish is prepared the same way every time.
- Maintaining an organized and clean working environment.
- Assisting in all areas of kitchen production, including prep, line, dish pit, etc.
- Cleaning and maintaining commercial restaurant equipment.
- Stocking and prepping ingredients in a precise and timely manner.
- Checking in and putting away deliveries.
- Maintaining inventory and rotation of ingredients (first in, first out)
- Adhering to thorough sanitation practices.
