IT Help Desk Technician (Seasonal)

Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00/hr
Target Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Monday - Friday. Some evenings and weekends will be required in peak season
We’re seeking a motivated Seasonal Help Desk Technician to join our onsite team in Vero Beach, FL. This role provides technical support to employees, ensuring smooth operation of systems, hardware, and software.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Respond to requests for IT assistance in person, via phone, and electronically.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Research questions using available information resources.
- Fixing hardware issues including replacing equipment and peripherals such as computers, terminals, and routers.
- Advise the user on the problem status.
- Follow standard help desk procedures.
- Log all help desk interactions.
- Administer help desk software.
- Redirect problems to appropriate resources.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
- Prepare activity reports.
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
- Provides one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone for approved personnel.
- Computer (PC) software.
- Delivers, tags, sets up, and assists in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Diagnoses and resolves end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems, e-mail, Internet, dial-in, and local-area network access problems.
- Coordinates timely repair of PC computer equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
- Performs minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
- Helps install local area network cabling systems and equipment such as network interface cards, hubs, and switches.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent; AA degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
- CompTIA A , CompTIA Net certification, or other related IT professional certification preferred.
- 2 years’ previous experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft software and network environment.

The peak season for Indrio Fields spans from November through January. PTO blackouts may apply in peak season.
